Ava and Emerson made birthday cake kits to share as a Kindness Project at Pride Elementary School.
Scarlett
Scarlett held a FUN-raiser to collect food for the food bank in lieu of birthday presents, for the 7th year in a row!
Troop 11 & the Mahr Park Community Garden
Boy Scout Troop 11 picked corn from the Mahr Park community garden, and were quick to give credit to project partners Independence Bank, Danny Basham, and Scott Deahl.
Master Garden Community Garden at First Christian Church
The Master Gardener Community Garden at First Christian Church kept our customers in fresh produce all season. The gardeners’ hard work and dedication resulted in 2,045 pounds of fresh goodies. They shared a ton of kindness!
Run for the Hungry 2024
Last year's run was a great success. Thanks to all our participants and sponsors, and to Kate Evans at Fitness101 for making the dream work. You can see the victors of the race below, but the folks of Hopkins County are the real winner, as $8200 was raised for the food bank!
First United Bank is such an awesome supporter in the community! In addition to their support of our run, they also donated some of their Friday jeans money to Christian Food Bank.
The Young's Movie Event at
Golden Ticket Cinemas
Look at all of the amazing donations that Golden Ticket Cinemas Capitol 8 collected at the Young's Christmas movie event. Bill & Nadine Young sponsored a community movie, and the theater shared popcorn with all who brought in food to share with their neighbors. What a blessing!
Thank you to the members of MNHHS Key Club, who shared the proceeds of their Character Breakfast with the Food Bank. What a beautiful way to love your neighbors!
